Future Artists

In March, students from the Royal Academy of Music took to the stage at the Purcell Room, Southbank Centre, for the culmination of the Future Artists programme.

Developed in partnership with the Southbank Centre, Future Artists brings Academy students together with leading artists to explore what it means to be a musician in the 21st century. Through a programme of workshops, mentoring and collaboration, students are encouraged to think beyond performance alone, developing the creative, entrepreneurial and collaborative skills that increasingly define successful artistic careers.

The programme culminates in a public performance at the Purcell Room, giving students the opportunity to present work shaped by this unique partnership in one of London’s most respected cultural venues.

The Banga Family Trust is proud to support initiatives that invest in young people and expand access to experiences beyond the traditional curriculum. Programmes such as Future Artists not only nurture exceptional musical talent but also equip students with the confidence, curiosity and creative resilience to shape the future of the arts.

We congratulate everyone involved at the Royal Academy of Music and the Southbank Centre for creating such an inspiring opportunity for the next generation of musicians.
